Check out the Dewings Center this Saturday at 3 pm for a Japanese Heritage cultural experience. What a great opportunity to learn about other cultures.

Did you know that the Pine River Area School District is always looking for substitute paraprofessionals to assist our students and teachers? If you're looking for occasional work during the school year, please consider applying. To qualify, you need to complete employment paperwork at the Central Office, inside the high school, and complete the required fingerprinting process. Come join our team when it works for you!

The link to purchase tickets for the MHSAA Track and Field Regional at Chippewa Hills on Saturday is now available. Hope to see you there!

A HUGE thank you to this group of PR supporters for spending the day providing FREE physicals to student athletes. We are incredibly fortunate to have providers like Amanda Nixon PA in Tustin and Emily Nelson FPN in Reed City.

As we wrap up this incredible Employee Appreciation Week, I (Mrs. Gill) want to extend another heartfelt thank you to all of our employees for their hard work, dedication and compassion for our students. Our employees go above and beyond every day to educate our students and keep our schools looking great. I witnessed the drum line at the elementary this morning and smiled the entire time I was there as childen chanted the name of their teacher being celebrated in the drum line. Mrs. Haskel, Mrs. Haskel was the name I heard the most because I was near her class. Thanks again all of you and have a wonderful weekend!

Congratulations to our Highland Conference Scholar Athletes, Miriam Johnson and Nathan Marks. They were honored during an annual luncheon at the Eldorado today.

Another day to appreciate our teachers and staff during this appreciation week! Thank you for all you do for our students! The list of what you do is endless and many people outside of education don't know all that you do. But I do, and I thank you today and every day! You are the glue that holds our students and staff together!

It's Staff Appreciation Week and I owe a huge THANK YOU to all of our school employees. It takes us all to make good things happen in our district. Thank you all for your hard work, compassion, and dedication! You Rock!

All baseball and softball games scheduled with Reed City on 5/8 have been CANCELLED. Reed City had to reschedule a conference game. We are actively seeking a possible replacement.

Due to the severe weather moving into the area tonight's Varsity Baseball and Softball games have been POSTPONED. These conference games will be made up on Friday May 10 starting at 4:15 pm in Lake City.

Today our Osceola Youth Advisory Committee (OYAC) members, along with members from other Osceola schools, spent the morning at LeRoy Library helping out with whatever needed to be done. It was a beautiful day and great to give back to our community!

It's Teacher Week here at Pine River Area Schools! I'd like to thank all of our teachers for their tireless efforts in supporting and educating our students.
