Use the link above to access the Michigan Department of Education’s Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) site locator. The SFSP was created to ensure that children in lower-income areas could continue to receive nutritious meals during long school vacations, when they do not have access to the National School Lunch or School Breakfast Programs.
Use the link above to access the Summer Meal Bags Form. This year food service will provide summer meal bags to our kids! Summer meal bags are very similar to the COVID meal bags we provided. Each bag will provide 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches to students. The Google form will need to be completed each week to receive bags. We will have designated delivery locations in Ashton, Luther, LeRoy & Tustin.
As a PowerSchool parent, you can check to see whether or not your child is in class right now, find out what tonight’s homework is, confirm that last night’s homework was handed in, and view your child’s final grades as they exist in the teacher’s gradebook at this very moment. You can also track the formative progress of your child’s performance on state standards, register to receive alert notifications, review the daily comments from teachers, and much more.
Parents can add money to their child’s account and also view their child’s lunch balance and transactions. Lunch applications can be completed online for all Pine River students. Please contact Michelle Adams at 231-829-3141 x6 for username and password.

PEBT funds are available for qualifying students who missed school due to COVID. Since the buildings did not close for COVID, parents will need to apply for funds using the Reconsideration form available at www.michigan.gov/PEBT. For school assistance with the application, please contact Kim Miller at kim.miller(at)pineriver.org or 231-829-3141, option 8.
