This is a test.
Ms Miltgen and Mrs Lockhart along with OYAC members and some NHS members shopped for 18 children yesterday. They tackled Christmas lists of wants and needs, along with some fun things for each child. Thank you to all who have helped donate either money or gifts to help complete these lists, making Christmas brighter for others.

Elementary Principal Mrs. Heidi Hayes, MEMSPA Region 13 Principal of the Year, was celebrated today at the elementary school with the high school drumline and band congratulating her and thanking her for all she does. Well done Mrs. Hayes!
Superintendent Gill popped over to the Elementary today to check out the "wax museum" event. Wow, very impressive! Students chose a character, dressed as the character and confidently described the character's life. I met over a dozen famous characters including Abraham Lincoln, Barak Obama, Jacque Cousteau, Oprah Winfrey, Rosa Parks, Steve Irwin, Jane Goodall, Clara Barton and many more. Some students memorized their information while others read it and they made their own posterboards describing their character. Well done students!

Saturday, Pine River Middle School held a special Art Club for a select group of students tasked by Mr. Gill with making holiday art for tonight's Elementary Winter Program. Great job everyone!
On Thursday and Friday, Pine River NHS and NJHS members helped get Project Christmas at the Wex set up and ready for today's event. Our kids unloaded, sorted, unpacked, moved, packed, organized, and more. They worked hard and their help for the community was so appreciated!

LOST & FOUND! Each school has tons of student Lost & Found items. Please have your child check if they are missing water bottles, clothes, shoes or jackets. This also includes clothing that is left on the locker room floor. Anything left will be donated.
The holidays are a great time to include your children in learning how to cook and prepare for meals and special events. Here are some tips from the Northeast Region Community Health Center.
Reminder: The Pine River High School Choir will perform this evening at 6 p.m. upstairs at the Dewings Center in LeRoy. The Nativity Exhibit and coffee / treats will also take place downstairs from 3 - 7.
