Out of an abundance of caution, Pine River Area Schools has implemented a HOLD at the middle and high school facilities at approximately 11:35 a.m. today in order to investigate a statement that was found written in the school. HOLD means that students and staff will stay in their classrooms and continue business as usual. Police authorities are onsite and the investigation is ongoing. There is no immediate threat and school will continue as usual. During a Hold, students, staff and parents are not allowed in or out of the building. We will continue to update our school community and families as information becomes available. Thank you for your patience.
