The middle school volleyball parent meeting has been rescheduled for tomorrow at 5:15 near the middle school gym.
Due to the continued power outage at PRHS below is the updated athletics schedule for today:
-MS practices are canceled
-JV Volleyball practice is canceled
-JV Football will now play IN HARRISON at 6:30. Bus departs at 4:30
-V Football will practice 3:00-4:00 pm on the practice field
-V Volleyball in Big Rapids(no change)
-V Cross in Cadillac (now starting at 6:00 pm)
Pine River Area Schools are closed Wednesday, August 28, due to the continued power outage.
UPDATE- due to the changing scenario with the power we are now canceling ALL after school sports practices.
Due to the thunderstorm and power issues at the high school. Only High school teams will practice after school today. All MS sport practices have been canceled.
2023-2024 high school yearbooks are in!!! Seniors from last year can pick them up in the high school office during normal office hours.
High school lunches offering a selection of healthy à la carte snacks for students after lunch!
These snacks are not free and can be purchased after lunch is served. All Breakfast and Lunches are free this year for the whole district. If students want an extra entree they may purchase one for $1.50. There is unlimited fruits and vegetables on the salad bar.
Encouraging healthy eating habits is important, and we’re excited to provide more options that support your child’s well-being.

Elementary School 4 - 6 pm
Middle School 4:30 - 6:30 pm
High School 5 - 7 pm
$25 is required for students to take their Chromebooks home at Open House.

Volleyball and Cross Country: after school on Thursday 8/22 until 5:30.
All athletes must have a physical on file to participate.
