NEW RETURN BIN! Do you have library book or other school item that need to be returned to school? Now you can drop it off anytime in front of the elementary building. Just open the lid, put your materials in there, and shut the lid. We will empty this every night. Thanks for your help!

An update for our Class of 2020: (This was emailed to all seniors, but in case you missed it...) Senior Communication Letter - March 31, 2020 Greetings Seniors: This an update for SENIORS only. We all understand the stress of not knowing what may happen in your remaining time here at PR. However, please note we are working diligently to get as many answers as possible. Mrs. Curtis and I are reviewing the credits for the seniors. She will be obtaining the credit audits on Friday, April 3, 2020 and reviewing them this weekend. Between myself, Mrs. Curtis, Ms. Miltgen, and Mrs. Lockhart, we will be contacting those students who need to recover credits, complete an extra class for credit, or are possibly short on credits. If you are not sure if you fall into one of the above mentioned categories, email me and Mrs. Curtis. I am working with Mr. Rigling from CTC to address the credit situation for CTC. If Mrs. Curtis or I have not contacted you by early next week, it means you are in good standing to graduate on time. It is our intent to make sure all seniors graduate and move on with life. When we get more answers and a definitive timeline, we will communicate with more detail. Scholarship applications are still being accepted. Please email Ms. Miltgen with any questions. As of now, no decision has been made about prom or graduation. When we have a plan in place, we will let you know. At this moment, please continue to check your email regularly. While Pine River finalizes meal plans, Cadillac Public Schools has extended their food program to us. Mon-Fri, 10:00-11:30am at the Cadillac Junior High School you may pick up meals in their JH/HS bus loop.Thank you CAPS! More info to come on PR meal plans on Tuesday.

Pine River Area Schools is working to acquire information and resources in order to provide meals for students during the mandated school closure. We should have a plan to share by end of day, Tuesday, March 17. We are also working on links to community resources including Feeding America and local food pantries/meal sites. This will be included in Tuesday's update.

The May 5, 2020 Bond presentation, scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2020, in the MS/HS Media Center has been cancelled. Announcements will be made once a reschedule date has been set. Please see the news section of our website for more details about the bond.
