Good Afternoon PRAS Community, In the last few months you may have received a post card or letter regarding the American Community Survey from the US Census Bureau. Please complete this survey. It is sent randomly to homes in our district and is vital to our continued receipt of school district funding. Thank you!

Official Big News today! PRAS has been awarded $191,576 from the MI Community Center Grant to be used for some of the HVAC needs that we identified. This grant was submitted early last fall before we knew of the bond opportunity. There was a lot of work put into this grant and a lot yet to come in order to comply with all their grant requirements. We were one of only 6 schools awarded grant funds. Other recipients included 69 nonprofits, 22 governmental agencies, and 3 colleges / universities. So I feel very grateful for these funds. Also, many thanks to PR retiree Ava Lucas, TR / Operations Director TJ Updike and Triangle Construction for helping to get all the information ready for this grant last fall, in a very short time frame. This will mean that some of the anticipated bond funding we were considering for HVAC upgrades may not all be needed, and can be used for other needs. For more information on the grant, click on the link below: https://www.michigan.gov/leo/news/2024/02/29/gov-whitmer-announces-64m-in-grants-awarded-to-michigan-community-centers
