One, Two, Three, Four… we declare a COIN WAR!
Coin Wars for Christmas
Jars for each grade level, 8th-12th, will be set up in the HS hallway before school and during PT conferences. Coins add points, bills subtract points, and rolled coins count as double points! All money raised will be used for the Adopt-A-Family Christmas Project. The winning grade will receive a prize. Be strategic in helping your grade earn points while keeping the other grades from winning! Let’s all work to make the holidays better for those in our communities that need some help.

NHS will be sponsoring a Cancer Patient Care Drive October 16th-20th. A table for donations will be set up before school each of the five days in the high school, or items may be dropped off in the HS office anytime during that week. Please check the attached flyer for appropriate items to donate to help the patients and their families undergoing treatments.

The PRHS Outdoor Environmental Science class completed their Fall Camping Trip to the school’s property at Woodpecker Flats. Students worked in small groups to build shelters from specific terrains around the world. Throughout the next few days, they will create an informative presentation including pictures of their shelter and real shelters from their specific area. The students definitely worked hard on their projects, but they also had time to play a good ole game of hide & seek in the dark, make s’mores (one student had never had one before!) and hobo pies, played Euchre and Uno, and sat around the bonfire listening to music and chatting. They were thankful and appreciative of the opportunity to go on the trip. Kudos to Mr. Thompson for all of his hard work prepping food and organizing the trip!
