Pine River High School Hall of Fame

The Buck Pride Group and Pine River Area Schools proudly announce the 2022 Pine River High School Hall of Fame honorees. We had a terrific response with so many great candidates and applications, but in the end The Buck Pride Group chose three individuals for our seventh induction class: Sheila (Dickinson) Houseman, Carl Johnson and Tim Jones. The Class of 2021 honorees will also be inducted during this event: Fred Davis, Luke Jones, the 1976 Varsity Boys Basketball team and the 1980 Varsity Softball team.
On Friday night, January 28, 2022, Pine River High School will host Lake City for a home girls jv and varsity double-header basketball game. PRAS thanks Lake City for helping with this special night.
All community members, former HOF inductees, friends, and family are encouraged to be a part of our January 28 induction ceremony.
Schedule for January 28, 2022:
5:30 p.m. Room set aside for the inductees

7:45 p.m. Approximately. Girls varsity basketball. Pine River vs.Lake City. There will be reserved seating in the gym for the inductees.
Following the induction ceremony, The Buck Pride Group and the Pine River Area Schools will host a reception for the inductees, their families, and close friends.
Kim Miller, Buck Pride Group president stated, “As always we are excited to be part of honoring these great folks! We believe this group exemplifies the kind of quality students, student-athletes, and professionals that are associated with the Pine River Area Schools”.
“Pine River is so happy to have the opportunity to honor alum and former faculty,” said superintendent Matt Lukshaitis. “Having the ability to induct such great contributors to Pine River and our American society as a whole sets a great example for our current students and community. We put in a concerted effort to make good things happen here and this is a wonderful way to thank the folks who make Pine River Area Schools such a proud district.”
