Pine River Area Schools and the Pine River Hall of Fame Group proudly announce the 2026 Pine River High School Hall of Fame honorees. We had a terrific response with so many great candidates and applications, but in the end The Hall of Fame Group chose five individuals for our eleventh induction class: Connie Anderson, Allyn Sue Danzeisen, Craig Draper-Johnson, Julie Long Riggs and Rick Swanson. On Friday night, January 16, 2026, this year’s Hall of Fame inductees will be honored at the Pine River High School in between games against McBain at the home Varsity double-header featuring the Girls and Boys Varsity teams. PRAS thanks McBain for helping with this special night.
All community members, former HOF inductees, friends, and family are encouraged to be a part of our January 16, 2026 induction ceremony.
Schedule for January 16, 2026:
5:00 p.m. Room set aside for the inductee reception/reserved seating in gym
5:30 p.m. Girls Varsity basketball game begins. Pine River vs McBain

Following the induction ceremony, the Hall of Fame Group and the Pine River Area Schools will host a reception for the inductees, their families and close friends, and former HOF inductees.
“What a great way to show our Buck PRide by honoring our distinguished alumni and former faculty! I love that we have this Hall of Fame program and I feel it is so important to show our current students that the people being honored started out here as Pine River students just like them,” said Superintendent Michelle Gill.
