Have you completed your 2020 Census yet? Every person in your household counts. Completing the census helps our school district in the following ways:
The results of the 2020 Census will inform decisions about allocating hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funding to communities across the country including ours!
That includes funding and support for school programs and services such as:
- Special education
- Free and reduced-price lunch
- Classroom technology
- Teacher training
- After-school programs
- Head Start
- Title Grant Funding
This federal funding also supports services that influence a student's readiness for learning, such as maternal and child health programs, as well as housing, heating, and food assistance.
