Dear Pine River Area Schools Employees and Families,
As we wait on the State of Michigan to determine our 2025-26 school budget, FREE breakfast and lunch will continue through September 30, 2025. Unfortunately, until we receive a budget, we are in the wait and see mode and cannot guarantee free meals on and after October 1st. Please contact our State Legislators to stress how important this is to our students. As always, extra entrees and a la carte food items are available for purchase. Parents may load funds onto student accounts through PowerSchool or by sending cash or a check made payable to Pine River Food Service with the student. The State of Michigan is recommending that ALL FAMILIES complete the Education Benefits Form this year. Scan the QR code below to get the link for the form. This form is utilized to determine our State funding allocations.
