Christmas Night Out
The Leadership class will host Christmas Night Out on Wednesday, December 18th from 5:30-7:00 p.m.at the high school. Kids will write letters to Santa, decorate cookies, have a paper snowball fight, and decorate ornaments. Pizza will be provided. The cost of admission is $5 or a toy donation. A slip came home Wednesday regarding this event. Please return this slip ASAP if your child(ren) plan on attending.
Christmas Concerts
The 3rd grade concert will be on Tuesday, December 10th. The 1st grade Christmas concert will be on Wednesday, December 11th and Kindergarten concert will be on Thursday, December 12th. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Please have your child report to their classroom between 5:30 and 5:45 p.m. Please have your child dress in their holiday best. All of the times are the same for each grade.
Pine River Youth Wrestling Clinic
All K-2nd grade students are invited to come to the free youth wrestling clinic on Monday, December 9th. All 3rd -5th students are invited to come on Monday, December 16th. Both clinics will be held from 6-7 p.m. in the HS wrestling room. Youth wrestling season will begin immediately after Christmas break.
Santa’s Secret Shop
Santa’s Secret Shop will be held Monday, December 16th and Tuesday, December 17th. We are having a store-like setting with items for children to purchase. All items will be priced at just $1 and will be gift wrapped for students. Each classroom has a scheduled time slot for children to secretly shop for gifts to give their families and friends. Cash or checks (made payable to PRPTG) will be accepted. We are asking for volunteers and also donations of gift bags and/or wrapping paper. We will also need lots of scotch tape. If you haven't and would like to volunteer, please fill out a background check and turn it into the office. The background checks are available in the elementary office. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Follow the Star
Center Lake Bible Camp presents “Follow the Star,” a live nativity this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:008:00 p.m. A meal is included with free admission.
Buck Hut
The Pine River Booster Club will open the Buck Hut on Saturday, December 14th from 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. for anyone who would like to purchase any Pine River apparel for Christmas or any other occasion. The Buck Hut is located in front of the press box near the football field.
Luther Library
There will be a craft show and library book sale starting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 14th. Santa will be there from 1 p.m. -3 p.m. for pictures. One free sheet of pictures will be given to each family. There will also be simple crafts for the kids to do, as well as take home book bags. There will also be a box raffle from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
