Superintendent, Matt Lukshaitis, with the support of Pine River Area Schools Board of Education has issued a letter to Governor Gretchen Whitmer requesting the reconsideration of the shutting down of contact sports. The letter also requests Governor Whitmer to consider allowing contact sports to begin on February 1, 2021 as was previously planned.
